The diversity of banana cultivars in East Kalimantan based on morphological characteristic

The purpose of this study was to determine diversity banana Kalimantan characterize based on morphology. This research explorative nature by identifying directly field cultivars. Morphological stems, leaves carried out description contained IPGRI-INIBAP/CIRAD. instrument morphology observation sheet which contains parameters: leaf habit, pseudostem color, predominant underlying color pseudostem, sap blotches at petiole base, canal III, upper surface, midrib dorsal lower ventral wax leaves. result shows that found 12 types cultivars were found, Talas bananas, Rutai Kepok Mas Morosebo Tanduk Susu Maulin Red Ambon Raja Cavendish bananas.There variations morphological characteristics plants, each banana.
